4EOD question
Can a 4EOD be used without the ECU like a C6? I have a '94 F150 4X4 that had an engine fire on the passenger side. A plug wire hit the header and took out a good portion of that sides wiring and vacuum lines. I was considering changing it over to a carb set up. Would that prevent me from passing emissions? Would it be easier to just rewire the truck? The drive train is new or I would probably part the thing out.

Thanks. That is what I thought, I just wanted to see if I was correct. Looks like it's time to do some wiring. I miss the old days of being able to run whatever you could wedge between the fenders and working out the linkage was the major hurdle.
