'05 F-250 KR 55K miles
I'm wondering if any one suffers from pitting on the aluminum factory running boards. How can this be stopped or how have you fixed this problem ? The truck will be used partly in winter climate.
I searched here for this topic to no avail.

 

I would think you need to clean them, polish them, clear coat them, and apply a grip tape to them or something?
No way to really stop aluminum from pitting unless you seal it!
