ok so i am trying to figure out whats wrong...
i disconnected the EVP electrical connector from the EGR valve
and tested the evp wire harness and the voltage was withing range(5.3v)

Then i went to check the EVP sensor itself. it ranges from 3400ohms to 510ohms(it should be 5000ohms-100ohms).
does this mean i have to change my evp sensor. or does it mean there is somthing wrong with my egr valve?

could this be due to my EGR valve being dirty or damaged and not moving its full amount..

 

Cleaning it should help man!
Check and clean all of it.
If not, delete it!

 

I would just delete it... I've had a egr code since I bought my truck but I don't worry about it, alot of guys around where I'm at just take em off and put a block plate on... no emissions here though

 

I would just replace the sensor and delete the EGR completely.
