I have a 2001 Lightning. Has anyone upgrade the wheels to a larger size than 18" And if so how big with out making any suspension or body mods. Thanks.

The Harley Supercrew has 20" wheels. Might want to check one of those out.

Thanks for that info too. I thought they were 20's. I should be able to get 20's on my L with out any trouble.

I've been thinking aobut doing this with my '01 Lightning, but the quesiton remains: what will it do to the handling characteristics?? The suspension was designed with 18" rims and 45 series tires, specifically, raising the ceter of gravity 1" (using 20" rims and 45 series tires), will also raise the roll center 1". Given that the suspension was designed to keep the tire as flat on the road during body roll as possible, will this 1" rise change it drastically enough to cause undesirable handling characteristics??

Any input would be helpful and appreciated.
