I just bought a wrecked 02 F250 with a 4" super lift . I want to know if anyone can run a build sheet on it . The truck looks to have had an engine replaced in 6/07 iits got a Ford sticker on the engine and I was wanting to know when it was done , any help or where to get would be a great help
Thanks Tommy
There are a few things you can do. 1. call Ford Motor and ask them if there is a way to get a build sheet, or ask one of the guys in the Super Duty forum to run your vin for an oasis, and believe they have access to build sheets in the oasis area. Hope this work for you
First, welcome to FTE. Second, get in touch with Ed (FTE/PARTS-GUY) and he will send you a long version of the build sheet. The one from Ford customer service is a one pager. You can't PM him yet, so shoot him an email at parts@parrauto.com. He's a great guy, a supporter of the site, and a good contact for cheap OEM parts. The Oasis report is the one that will tell you what warranty work was done to it. If the engine was replaced under warranty it will show up there. Good luck.
