I'm sorry if this has been asked, but I have spent 45 minutes searching with no luck, I must be stoopid! Anyway, I replaced my stock Ford hubs with a set of Warn Premium hubs and want to know what is the best way/place to cap off the vacuum line, thanks in advance.
I believe the nipple is threaded. If it is, then pull the nipples and go to your local hardware store. In the brass section, you should find pipe plugs with similar threads and dia. These plus a little tef tape would be an ideal seal.
Other wise, the auto parts stores will have a variety of vacuum caps. Put a dab of silicone on the cap/boots and push it on the nipple.
At the back of the steering knuckle. If you look at the caliper there are three lines that come down, one for the caliper, one for the ABS sensor and the remaining rubber hose is the vacuum hose for the esof. If you follow that vacuum hose down, it will meet a nipple on the back side of the knuckle, I thought it was threaded when I looked at it a while ago. Capping it here would reduce the hose to a minimum.
