I'm still looking for the right X. There is one available in CT that is lifted 4". For reasons of garage access, I'd like to be at standard height. How big a deal would it be to return a lifted X to stock height?
i just lowere the Ex i bought it had a 5.5 inch fab tech lift on it put stock springs back on the front , had to buy the track bar bracket from ford plus pitman arm 4 shocks all around , new u bolts all around, and remove rear blocks. i just put the kit up for sale maybe i will get some money back for the new parts i had to buy. see if the guy has the original stuff it would make it easy or a 4x4 shop that has something laying around.
Good luck Tony
Actully I just saw your from vermont, I am in newhampshire. I might take a run to my moms in vermont tomorrow or sunday. Let me know if your interested we can hook up. I dont want anything for the stuff, just want to get rid of it. I have stock front rear and rear blocks.
Brian, I haven't gotten to go look at the X yet, so I don't know for sure if I will need the parts. My wife and I both have parents in NH, so we do get over there fairly often. I'll give you a holler if I end up with a lifted X.
