He's right, if you had an EFI motor it would plug right in and run perfectly with only 1 other change, a 5.8 computer. To put a carb motor in there you will need an ignition system, have to modify the fuel system to provide low pressure fuel, and then rewire the dash gauges. It's certainly doable but it's a hack job in comparison.
