when to get longer shocks

#1 at what height generally would you have to up grade to longer shocks
putting 2.5 tuff country lift intended for a diesel but has 5.4
so im thinking it will end up being 3+"of lift instead of 2.5
truck has plow and tow package and already sits level
front actually looks a little higher than rear

#2 comes w/track bar drop bracket will i need adjustable track bar
and drop steering arm

#3 also trying to figure rear -going with f 350 blocks think ill need more maybe add-a-leaf too

2004 f250 fx4 SC SB 5.4
in for a rough ride i know
any advice thank you

Shocks are good for about 2" beyond stock. Anything (lift or lowering) more than 2" I would get new shocks for the next level (4" lift in your case.)

Because it has a new bracket, it should off set the track arm. Your going a little more than it's intended most likely, but the stock bar will most likely be fine. You can always add one later if you find the axle is offset.

I think it would be easier to put the front together, and figure out what you need for the rear. Then buy the right size block and ubolts.

You will not be down, the truck can drive while the front is jacked up and the axle a little off center. Although in your position, I would get a new/adjustable track arm. Then measure the distance between the top of the tires and the top of the wheel well. The difference front and back, plus 3" should tell you how much block you need.
