I recieved this thing the first time last summer and reported it to the FBI. They told me I wasn't the first. They gave me an investigation number and they would check it out. I havn't a clue what they were doing about it since then but when I got another copy of it about a week ago and reported it I was told that they already knew about it and just dump it.
Just got the chance to read this topic, not only is this scam not new, I got a LETTER I would swear was exactly the same about ten years ago when I was building jewelry stores.
Just goes to show: everything old is new again.
poo poo on everyone.
I sent them all the info they requested plus my height, weight, and favorite color just to be sure. I just hope I was the first. Now all I have to do is sit back and wait for them thar millions to come in. Ahhh, yes...I can't wait for that life of luxury.
He's lucky he didn't try this up here in CANADA or we would have
put the MOUNTIES on him or even worse the CSS or are they called
CISS or simply just MOUNTIES in full size rental cars.As this what
our federal GOV has budgeted our national security with up here.
Dr James Bankie...........Dr of Hankie Pankie. One would have to be quite naiive to put that account information over to strangers in any form of communication.
CSIS I believe is the correct Canadian equivalent...
This is how the scam works. They get your bank info (no big deal, you can always open a new account and leave it empty, right?)
BUT, this is the kicker: They want a couple thousand dollars from you to help the transactions go smoothly and quickly, since their money is all tied up in legalities. So, counting the the people that actually fall for this, that 2 thousand here and there really adds up!
Suckers...

I'm an international banker too. And if you send me $10,000.00 I will garauntee a deposit of $10,000,000 to your account within 10 days.
Can you imagine giving out that kind of info to an known Email address. The one bad thing about the net is you can be anyone you want from anywere.
>I received an email today with the subject "URGENT AND
>STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL
I think about 50,000 people received this already... So much for 'strictly confidential'!
