I have to wait for my paycheck to catch up to my credit card before I can start to work on my cab, so I got caught up on a few "need to do" things this last weekend... like the rusted inner fenders. More pics in my gallery.
bassn1,, I just finished the inner fenders and lower fender repair on my 58. I know exactly what you're going thru. I have been putting off the cab and floor boards for months now. I can't hide any longer.
Great job, I am inmpressed
Nice work on those inner fenders. Checked out your gallery, looks like you lucked out with a pretty solid looking truck. I used the Eastwoods system on my frame also, the rust converter looks to be a very durable product.Keep up the excellent work and of course keep us posted on your progress.

I bent it over the existing fender before I cut it out for the patch.
I'm still in the practice mode on stuff you don't see untill I feel I'm good enough to attempt the actual body work. I might drag out the cab this weekend and remove the glass and do a little paint stripin' I'm almost afraid to find what lies under the old paint and primer.
I need to get started on some of my patch work myself. Seems like I keep hoping one day to come home from work and a miracle has happened and some how everything somehow got all patched up. To be honest I'm actually am looking forward to doing it , I just got to find the time. Of course if someone like Foose wants to steal it I won,t mind.
By the way looks like you got a great job going.
Nice tin work on your 60, your frame looks great too!!....heck your ready for the "big time" now!!.....get busy with your cab, ya know it's gotta get done......my son and I are right behind you with his 51, tear down is just about done, then we'll start heading the "other" direction.....keep up the nice work!!.....from one Minnesotan to another....
