OK i have a 02 super duty. The truck has a problem with the trailer lights (the lights in the truck its self work fine) Any way everything on the trailer lights side works fine with the exception of the right hand stop/turn signals. I am checking this with a test light. Is this a fairly common problem? Help me out guys.
The trailer lights are fused separately from the truck. There should be one for the parking lights, left turn/stop and right turn/stop. On the 01, they're the small fuses located in the fuse box under the hood. I dont know if they're in the same spot on the 02 though. Check the owners manual for the location.
my 05 f350 developed a sticky relay for the right side trailer lights,
it was sporatic in operation and would stick on at times
you might want to check that as well. its under the hood in the fuse/relay center

ok thanks. the trailer light fuse for my truck is for the left and right stop and turn signals. and i dont know if there is a relay under the hood on 02 but i will check.
Had a similar problem with my O6 a month ago and it turned out a rental trailer I used had a short and it burned out two fuses in the fuse block under the hood..
I too have an 02 250 with a similar problem. The Trailer stop/turns (both sides) dont work. Tested with a light.... Nothing.... Tested with a voltmeter.. very low voltage (3-4). I have traced the wires all the way up to the truck, and the next step is behind the fuse panel. My trailer brakes also have low voltage but sometimes they work. I was told the relays for the 02s trailer turns is a PITA and is behind the dash somewhere. I am hoping that I just have some corrosion issues behind the fuse panel as that is gonna be easier than getting to the relay.
As soon as I get it figured out, I will post it. If you get yours figured out, post it or PM me so I can check that also.

It's a fuse inside the truck but not one of your mini fuses. It's one of those tall square ones. It's blue. I can't remember the amp rating on it. Check it with a multi meter when you pull it. Often it looks good but it's catualkly fried where you can't see it. I've had this one go out on me more than once.
I just went through that with my '06 with a U-haul car hauler POS and in fact I have a post a ways along in this forum about the ordeal. A 75 cent 20 amp mini fuse in the underhood box fixed the problem but only after I hauled an expensive street rod 550 miles (gulp) with no turn or brake lights. I thought it was the 7/4 pole connector until I found that it is wired directly to the box and was in good shape.
Ireland... I think I saw your previous post. I too had thought it was the connection point. I have check all the minis with a meter, but not any of the others. I know the feeling, I ended up towing my camper quite a distance without turns or brakes and my brake controller working intermittantly. What really stunk was the 3 mile 10% grade (downhill of course) the controller decided it was time to take a break. So it was OD off, and slow.
