Cab Swap

I have a 1995 F-150, 300 C.I. six, auto, A/C, O/D. Also have good cab from 1955 Dodge, the Dodge was a one ton grain truck, dual rear wheels, low geard four speed trans. - not much fun to drive of course. Is it a real nightmare to put the old cab on the newer chassis, with all it's modern conveniences for driving? Would have a good Ford cab available if it would be accompolished. Southern Illinois - St. Louis, MO area.

i think the biggest problems you'd run into would be holes not lining up, wiring harness being too long/short, body lines wont match up probably, maybe even the steering column wont match up. but all these things can be custom fabricated so i really dont see a problem.

just outa curiousity, why do you want to put a dodge cab on a ford?

i can see a cummins swap, but the cab? your making a fodge

I've had the cab for 16 years.
