I was laying under my truck today finishing my bracket for my fuel system when I happened to look over at the driver shaft and I noticed something scary, the flange where the front u-joint is mounted for the driveshaft is missing 2 bolts and they were next to each other to make things worse!! I don't know what happened or where they went but there are 2 new bolts with lock washers!! And to think of all the things I have done with those bolts missing gives me the chills. I know it is better to find out now, than after I sling my driveshaft through my fuel tank
New bolts are in it now? sounds like someone ripped you off to me. Boy if I ever caught people tampering with stuff on my property they wouln't be walking away. They'd be carried.
sorry, that was un-intentional, and no I haven't had any work done, and i have no idea how long they were missing, I just know there are wear marks where bolts used to be but how they have been missing is a mystery to me, the two new bolts are ones I have installed to ensure no catastrophic damage in the near future
