i have a 78 f-150 2-wheel drive truck when i get to about 60-mph the truck vibrates a little than 65 and vibrates more than about 75 to 80 it stops it did this a while back and the tail shaft in the trans blew out can this be the drive line can i get it balanced OR something let me know what you think ! !! !
Yep, could be driveline out of balance, could just be a bad u-joint, could be a bad yoke. Any of those will cause vibrations. You should do a visual check of the driveline and check the u-joints. You can get the driveline checked and balanced at any drivetrain shop if you think it's needed.
i just put new u-joints in it and when the truck's trans blew up the yoke was stuck in the trans and i can't even beat it out i think that's the problem because my brother drove it like that for a long time prod like a year than i bought it and i than (BM)
