I need to do a brake job in my dad's 2002 diesel f250. I found calipers at napa for 75 and calipers made by fenco at autozone for 59. Is there any reason not to use the autozone ones? does anyone have any knowledge of either?
I brought NAPA calipers last year but they were new not reconditioned. And they were a lot more expensive than $75. Not sure about the Autozoo brand. Good luck.
I used only half a new caliper from Napa when I did my rears last year... the bracket that the pins slide into... not a single problem thus far. IIRC, my bracket was only about $35. I assume that the price you mentioned was for "loaded" calipers (already have the pads in them)?
