I've always questioned what good light guards would do.... if you hit something hard enough that it would break the headlights in the first place, it would almost certainly flex or bend the guards enough that the damage is going to happen anyway.
So I say no.

Bingo! I learned this the hard way in my old Ranger. Had a grill/brush guard on it (not near as beefy as Storm's though..) and hit a deer with it. So, instead of just breaking the grill, the guard folded back and trashed my grill, both front fenders, the hood, the radiator support, and the bumper. Kinda did the opposite of what it was supposed to do lol.

LOL.. Brush Guard won't stop anything but branches from scratching you all to crap. If you want a deer killer then you need a full front end replacement. Which is in the works. I just don't know which one I want to go with.

Haha.. yeah I guess the brush guard wasn't really obligated to protect against anything but brush... but I thought the grill guard should've been held responsible for not guarding the grill.

Yeah it's merely looks. I still cant decide on front end for mine. I don't want to loose the chrome. Only option decent is an ARB with the chrome grill bar. Other then that the other choices are just regular steel welded front ends.
