67 Roof
The roof on my 67 was dented in when I got it. The metal is stretched can I go to a junk yard cut out the roof along the seem on the top back and on the seam on the windshield post then have it welded in? Can I use propane to shrink the metal there is a big propane tank sitting in the back of the garage. Thanks Eric

Hey John. You can indeed shrink the metal. My father in law showed me this trick. He used a stud welding gun (bodytool) to get the metal red hot and then hit it with a wet rag. I was amazed at how far it pulled the bulge in. Pretty cool. I would hesitate to try this with a torch, as he said this will change the make up of the metal. Heck if I know how! Good Luck
