Removing valve springs

I am trying to strip my heads for a port and polish job. The only problem is I cant get the f#$%^& valve locks off. Im trying not to ruin my valves or related parts. Anyone have any tips?

Im an idiot. Few light taps with a socket freed the locks. Hopefully the rest just fall out.
