Dielectric grease does not conduct so you probably shouldn't use it on connections. You should use contact paste instead.

Only if you want to short between contacts.
Dielectric grease is MEANT for water and corrosion proofing connections.
It's not an insulator.

Contact paste is for simple things like terminal posts and connections between dis-similar metals like wire nuts on aluminum and copper wires.

If it is really thick dirt and grease, steam or hot water pressure will be the only way to cut it. Simple green is kinda worthless I think. Solvent or kerosene will do better, and in the old days thats what was mixed with gunk.

It's thick. I don't have access to a say to steam clean it =(

A 1"-2" putty knife, parts brush, and some kerosene or mineral spirits and you'll have it!

Agreed with that!
As long as you don't mind the environmental runoff and the hole it dissolves in your asphalt driveway.

Just soak it up with some kitty litter and dispose of it in your neighbors trash can so he can deal with it, nice guy, isn't he?
