two questions i need to know if( well i have a 1989 f250 custom no fancys on it ) i need to know if the dash (gauges) THE ONE with a techameter will fit mine as far as a direct hook up and second dose any one know the part #for a k&n filter the cone type with the two line hook up? thankss
I'm not sure if all the F-series harnesses for a particular model have the instrument cluster wiring installed for the tachometer or not. You could probably trace out the tach wire from the ignition coil to the instrument cluster wiring connector if it's there. Not sure if there is a K&N cone filter for the two-line setup like the 300s and 460s have, I do know there is a stock-type replacement available, more than likely. The cone filter setup would be a custom mod and you'd probably have to use tubing and the right diameter inlet cone-type filter(s).
