Has anybody ever cut a long bed truck fram and made it into a short bed or is there any pictures out there i have a long bed truck and would like to have a short bed
Check out Power Block TV's web site. On the show Trucks, the shortened a 60'S Chevy truck. From how to cut the bed, to cutting the frame was covered. They also went on to show the correct way to square and weld the frame. Hope this helps.
I gotta ask why would you want to? Seems kinda like a waste considering the abundance of short beds around there. I've found it pretty difficult to find a decent long bed let alone cut it up.
Down here in Texas and Louisiana short bed trucks are hard to find. When you find one you got to ****** it up if you get the chance. I was lucky and found one for $500 two weeks ago, and you can bet i grabbed it.
