Congrats on getting all that done by yourself I know its hard to do it by yourself and take pics thats why PAA meetings are great!
I hear ya! It would have been nice to have someone there to be taking pics as I was going.

I've very pleased with the regulated return and how it turned out. I don't really know if it quieted the engine down. Maybe a little. It's hard to tell cause the truck was sitting for 3 weeks or better before firing it up and I've been driving the car (that can be running but is so quiet that I can't tell sometimes that it's on!). So the diesel is still much louder!!
It took me quite some time plumbing the lines the way I wanted them. The pass. side rear gave me some fits because the downpipe got in the way of my original plan. There's still plenty of clearance between the rear head fittings (on both sides) and the exhaust. The hose is the same blue as the framerail, so that's why I covered everything with loom in the motor compartment. The blue just didn't fit to me. Because of the time involved, it probably didn't save me any money than buying a complete kit from ITP. I was able to buy everything needed (even the spin-on filter and base) for slighly less than the complete kit though. I've put about 300 miles on it since completed and all seem good!

Thanks man!! I'll get some more pics of the bezel within the next week or so. It gives it a little custom touch with still looking stock.

Thanks Mike! I know what you mean. The main reason I did the bowl delete was to open up the top of the motor and it's cheaper for the spin-on filter than the stock bowl filter. If I ever get around to doing the AirDog (which I may never really need), I'm going to use a 1/2" pickup tube since the AD hose is 1/2". But I'll only do the AD if/when my pump takes a dump. Then and only then will I upgrade pumps. See the vicious cycle?!?!
I'm not going to be over 400 hp with this motor, so I'm definitely not going extreme. Realistically I didn't have to do anything with the fuel system, but I just wanted to change it. I'm the type of person that will always wonder (and want to try) something if I don't have it and think it might make a difference. If I see NO long-term benefit for doing the reg return and spin-on filters, then I won't worry about it on future projects!
