Heating Problems
I have a 2000 EB Expedition that the heater is not getting hot the problem has gotten worse over a peroid of a few months, first it took a long time to heat up now it really never gets hot. Now you can also smell antifreze inside. I have not noticed any antifreze on the ground or a wet floor board but was thinking heater core. What do you think? Also how hard is it to get to the heater core to replace?

It's not hard at all to get the heater core replaced, it's also not hard to get the engine swapped...
Check to see if the fluid level is low, and if it is, try checking all the connections and for wet spots around areas where it connects. It sounds to me that since it happened slowly over time that the only problem is a small leak.
