i have a 2004 F150 Screw with a 6in procomp lift running on 35x17, a buddy of mine is selling his semi worn down 37x17 Toyo Open Country M/T. will they fit without rubbing. And can i just use the ballistic 17" rims i have now? thanks for all your help.
37" tires will fit without any trimming of the fenders
you will rub on full turn and on some of the bigger bumps though. a guy on another forum ran 37" Toyo's for 6 months before the rubbing drove him crazy. He fixed it by adding 2" taller shocks to the 6" Pro-Comp lift (8" total up front) and a 2" add-a-leaf out back.
looks pretty nice.
but yeah, you can make a 37" work with 6"...but it'll get annoying real quick. Why not stack a 2" Leveling kit ontop of the 6" up front, and add a 1.5" or 2" AAL out back so you have about 8" all around. Cost you about another $200-250 and the 37" tires will fit without rubbing
