Steering linkage help.
Hey guys, I put my exhaust on my 78 ford 302 yesterday and the shifting linkage is actually hitting the exhaust, stupid headers. Anyway, I Only need like 1/4" to clear it, I was cusious if you can buy a linkage rod that doesn't have the huge 1/4" bushing that goes between the rod and the transmission's shifting plate.
Any ideas what I could do here to clear that small amount of space?
