Shift 1-2 slippery
Hi guys, recently my F150, 1995, 4.9L, E4OD starts having troubles with 1 to 2 gears shift. Some times, when transmission is at normal driving temperature; the tranny slip while shifting from 1 to 2.
Condition gets worse while towing my fishing boat (1.600 lbs) and transmissions is hotter. While tranny is cold it shift normally. All other shifts are OK, no matters tranny temp, soft as usually but OK.
Last week I took a valve and accumulator bodies from my spare tranny and after some cleaning were installed on my tranny BUT it still doing exactly same. Yesterday it turned on the Check Engine light and the error code 617 was saved at continuous memory so, even the computer notice the problem.
Now my question
Where should I start checking to find the problem???
