There are soooooo many variables that will affect mileage.
What kind of addons?
I have a 3/4 4x4 extra cab longbed...lifted on 35" tires...I realistically get 14-16...maybe even up to 18 on the highway if I keep my RPM down doing 60 mph not towing anything. When towing...12 or so. lol
Tuners, chips, lifts, bigger tires, air intake, exhaust...all that stuff will effect your mileage.
thinking bout 3/4 crew 4wd power stroke...........what is realistic gas milage, with add on stuff?
thanks citygator
Sorry but asking that is like saying, if I eat this whole cake how fat am I going to get? Every truck is different like Smokin' advised. It all depends on engine condition, mods and your right foot
thanks to da both of ya,... it would be mostly on road not mud, 4wd for road condition,
if right stuff used what could i get in milage.....an would 2wd make much difference?
thanks again city g
A very general answer would be 13-18 combined.
Yes, 2WD would get a little better, but not much. You are pushing quite a bit of weight bare bones. In your location, you HOPEFULLY wouldn't have to deal with plowable snow, LOL!
Combined, I am getting 17-19, highway I have seen as high as 23.
But now with this new fuel, I would believe it would be a little lower.
What are your planned uses?
We can give a little better answer if we know.
