i was wondering if anyone could show me a diagram of all the vaccuum hookups for a 77 f150 4x4 w/a 351m 4spd. i have one hose that's coming off the canister and its sucking air... no idea where it goes
any one have a diagram for a 302 with auto shift tranny?....no a/c or all that mess manual brakes as well..i have a few hoses that i cant get placed either and i cant for the life of me remember what my EGR valve connects to as far as vacuum lines...i need to know but have had no luck..any help would be great!..thanks
I took FMC400's diagram and got rid of the stuff that is not on my truck. I don't have a brake booster either or smog. On the tree on the back of the intake, I only have two hoses coming off one going the tranny and one to the reservoir. The other two nipples are just tied together (blocked off) by a just a loop (that's what the big blue line is). My PCV is hooked to the back of my carb, where as in FMC's diagram it's hooked to the front, that spot on mine on the spacer is blocked off with cap. Of course the distributor advance is the same. I hope that helps and I hope FMC doesn't mind me using the diagram.
I don't mind at all; sometimes if you have two unused vacuum ports, it's simpler just to tie them to each other with a small length of hose just like you have rather than install two vacuum caps. I have been having the worst time finding vacuum caps lately.

I don't know what run-of-the-mill crappy auto stores are available in your region...there is a Motormite VACUUM-TITE vacuum cap kit available at Advanced Auto parts in my area for $5 or so. It has various sizes and quantity. Great for repairing emissions systems.
