i have a 99 f350 134000mi so here it goes i was driving my truck last night and everything ran fine. Today i started my truck and noticed it took longer then usual to start but it was a little cold out and it idled fine after it started. When i started driving it i noticed that when i would hit about 1500rpm's the motor will vibrate and i would have no power at all. the motor seems to be making a loug popping noise and when i let off the gas itt starts chugging. Any ideas on the problems im having???
before you start her in the morning check the level of the oil in the HPOP..if its low you may have a injector oring gone..does it smoke at all?? any SES light??

usually when it is cold i will have a little white smoke right at startup but today i noticed that there was a little more white and it was a little hard to start. Its not throwing and trouble codes. As for the HPOP, i'm new to this truck where is that located? Thanks in advance for all of your input!
you could also have a couple GP's going bad by the sounds..
if the oil level is good..check the GP's at the 9 pin on the valve cover

G=Glow Plug +
I = Injector +
C= Injector Common
***The injectors fire with a 115VDC signal from the IDM do not pierce to wires to test.***
Ohm between "I" and "C" to test the injectors, should be less than 5.0 Ohms
To check glow plugs Ohm between "G" and battery ground should be between 0.1 and 2.0 Ohms
