Don't know if it is sour grapes or not but last week I delivered into the Ford plant where the Superduty powerstrokes are assembled and the local UAW workers were telling me to avoid the 2009/2010 model years. Claim Ford has replaced the experienced workers with new hires with no experience and quality took a serious hit from this move.
seems like sours grapes to me as well: the only benefits with experieced workers might that they are probably faster (but they might also cut corners here and there) and they might spot a defective part since they have seen so many....

I'm not familiar with all of this, but, doesn't it seem possible that these 'new hires' are to replace some employees that have come to retirement age, or, are out on sick leave?
