I am building a 42 Ford truck (not an F1) running a Flathead engine. I am considering making a tilt front for it, bolting existing bonnet & guards together. Saw your truck - looks good. I see you haven't cut the front guards - I want to avoid doing that myself. Would you please send me (e-mail chris10sen@bigpond.com) any photos or info about how you did it?
Not to be redundant but I too would love to have any and all data and photo's concerning a full tilt front end sent to me. Mine is all blown apart right now so it's the perfect time to make this happen.
I am planning to go the full metal route for a couple of reasons, 1. I just don't like the look of glass front ends and , 2. Cost, I'm on a budget and can't afford to discard a nice straight front clip like mine.
I like the full sub frame that you put together, I would imagine that it really helps prevent the twisting and flopping around that I have seen on so many other fip front ends.
I recieved all the photo's and text from you guys and I thank you for it, I can't wait to print it all out and compare it to my scribbed notes and drawings.
I am new to this site and I saw that you had photo's and or directions on how to make my steel front end flip. would you please send those to tsnr@msn.com. thanks

Looks like you started something here. I've been researching how to do a flip front on my 49 F1 and with all Julies pics gone I was at a bit of a loss. Would you be able to send me a copy of the drawings please? Email is holehawgg@gmail.com. Thanks
