What would make my

AC sound like someone is kicking the side of my truck. I kept hearing this clunking sound and finally figured out it is my AC by turning it on/off. I have had it in twice to check, once they couldn't find any problem. The other time I went with the tech and sure enough it didn't do it. Lately it is bad, quite loud at times. Any thoughts on the problem would be greatly appreciated before I take it back next week.

check the clutch and it may be low on oil.

How do I do that, I can't even see the compressor through the 6.4 diesel maze?Thanks

good question. haven't tried to look myself to closely. I guess you could follow the hoses from the condensor.

If its doing it pretty bad now I would try another test drive with the tech
