engine swap.....
well, my engine slowly goes bad. leaks oil. burnes oil. noisy... and seems to me to change engine is cheapper here then to rebuild. Just checked some JY over here and I have some ideas. The idea is to get Explorer 4.0 OHV.
I have some quations related with engine mounts compatibility. Well, I gonna get engine with wiring and ECU and retrofit it in aero to have no calibration related problems.
Ok! who did it? any tips?

I think all the 4 liter blocks should be the same at the mount areas. At worst, you can move the mounts from your old engine to the new one.
I forgot, does your van have the 3 liter engine now? If so, I don't expect the mounts to be the same as those on the 4 liter engine.
