My bad it is an 06 front coil spring he used, did '05 have a front coil spring? I want to lower my front end a little bit, and a guy in the 7.3 forum put a 2006 spring on his truck. The end result was ride height at 37", mine right now is at 42" so I am trying to find an '06 spring
The year has absolutely nothing to do with what the ride height will end up being. You need to look at the weight ratings of the springs. The springs with lower weight ratings will sag more and result in a lower ride height.
That being said you do realize there is a lot more to swithing your front end over to coil springs than just getting the springs right?

Jorge already has a coil spring front end.
The two-wheel drive trucks like Jorge and I own have coils on the front, not leafs.
I believe in order for our trucks to use the 4x4 coils from the newer trucks, all we need is the top spring housing, or to modify the spring to accomidate the spring housings on our trucks.
I'm following Jorge's journey because I too want to use the 4x4 springs to get my ride height closer to the stock 4x4 stance.
I was wondering the same thing as Beerstalker. I didn't realize his truck was 2WD. I guess it's easy to assume 4WD by looking at the pic in his sig. My bad.
The rest of my post is still true though. He needs to look more into the weight ratings for the springs. All of the springs from 05-07 will be the same, if they have the same weight rating (possibly even the 08-09 but I'm not sure on them).
