Warranty Question

Did I dream this or is it a fact that if Ford addresses an issue while the vehicle is under warranty and the issue arises again, after warranty has expired, they will still cover the problem as if it is in warranty? My issue is the sinking brake pedal on my 05 SCrew. I took it to the local dealer under warranty and they replaced the master cylinder without a question. It went soft again and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I suggested the actuator rod adjustment found somewhere on this forum and it seemed to fix the problem....for about 10,000 miles. Now, the brake pedal sinks lower than the gas pedal when coming to a full stop. I'd like it covered under the warranty.

I thought it had to be multiple repairs under warranty

you can ask at least, but I'd be prepared for NO

I have always heard that if they attempt to fix before warranty and then the same problem persists after warranty that they will fix it as if it were under warranty.
