Search feature
Is it just me not remembering how to do one, or has this become vague? It seems that in the past a search for a particular term would produce results pertinute to that, now it seems to bring up some unrelated threads/posts. Just me? Joe

No actually I have sent a few e-mails to our illustrious IB Adrian complaining that the "Intelligent" search function we had is now a useless base search that posts every thread that has the word in it you type in.
You can draw it down by typing your subject in quotations (ie "tires" instead of tires). At the moment, there is a "substitute" search engine in place that does not have a "relevancy" capability. In other words, it just searches for the words, not the number of times those words appear in a thread. So you don't know if the word "tires" is listed one time in 40 posts on that thread of if it is mentioned 200 times and is the subject of the thread. You just have to look through each and every one of them....extremely useless
Seems the old search was creating ongoing problems for them and stopped working regularly, so they are in the process of replacing it. IB Adrian says "be patient, we are working on it."
