Where do I go next

The truck I bought sat for 8 years. I bled the brakes and they pumped up. However the pedal will still go to the floor. I have to pump up again for the truck to stop. Where should I look next. Master Cylinder or wheel cylinders? Thanks

Probably master cylinder. But if it sat that long I would probably do the wheel cylinders also

I'd get it up on jack stands, pull all of the wheels and check everything in the brake system.

I'd guess master cylinder too, unless you have a wheel cylinder leaking causing the sinking. Does it loose fluid too? With manual brakes, look underdash and see if fluid is leaking down from master cylinder. With powerbrakes it will be noticable under hood.

I'm with 60F100, do the whole thing and know all is well. With it sitting so long, the moisture build up in the wheel cylinders might give you fits later anyway. Check your rubber hoses while you're at it. For less then couple hundred bucks you can go thru the whole thing.

Cool. :)
Sometimes you just gotta hear it. ;)
When it comes to brakes and like my "throttle post" I just got done writing...

"this is no time to brag on how quick and easy the job was and/or little effort
and expense you put into it" "it won't look good in court ;)"

Also buy new flex hoses to the front drums and the flex one in the back. I had one dry rot on an old car years ago. Luckily it ruptured as I was stopping in my driveway.
