Which Gooseneck with air bags

Hitches
I've got a 04 f-350 4x4 s/b , i wanted a clear bed when not ha uling anything. I tow a 40' 5th wheel so i needed a slider hitch, and at times i use a 30' gooseneck equipment trailor. To get the best of what i needed i looked at husky . They make a couple slider hitches (15k 16k) and gooseneck hitches (25k)that use the same under bed mounting systems .so i have two hitches that use one mount.when not in use,i simply pull 4 pins and it leaves your bed clear of bed rails that is common to standard mounts. Now is for the air bags, i too have bags mounted on the outside of frame and have no problems with mounting rails and bag brackets . I wish i had pics, will try to get them here.

roadfind, which system do you have? The only Husky that I saw that clears the bed is the stow-a-G/N which is like the B&W system (although it looks like it mounts on the inside of the frame rail instead of the outside). The stow a 5th wheel looks like it retains the bed rails. I see the 4 pins to remove the hitch assembly, are you saying that the above the bed rails come out too?

To answer a previous question - I dont have the G/N trailer yet so the front of the trailer is yet to be determined. If I order a trailer I will get the short bed tongue on it. If I buy from a lot then I will have to get one of those adapters to slide the ball back 4 inches or else just be real careful when making sharp turns.

Hitches
The mounting rails are under bed and ontop of frame rails , that extend out to edges, then connect to outside face. The part# that I have is 07066 5th wheel with gooseneck part #06970 . The site is (Husky Towing Products ) and look up underbed mounts (UBS) than the pdf fle at bottom of page . The 5th wheel shares the same mounting rails as the gooseneck . So within minutes you can change out you gooseneck for your 5th wheel head . The gooseneck plate weights about 40# and the 5th wheel breaks down to two pieces about 40# each as well, one person can lift it off. Now you can buy either one and add the other at a later date.

You can make anything work if you're willing to spend the time to modify a few things. It will all depend on the goose neck set up you have and the air bag kit you have.
I've seen some kits that you could just drill and bolt on. I thought I had ordered one of those for my wife's truck but it turns out she has a different goose neck set up than the truck I helped install the same kit on before. I ended up having to cut the flange off the air bag mounting bracket that faced outward and flip it so it faced inward. Once I did that, the bracket would clear the bolts and still line up properly. On other set ups, it may just require a bit of grinding or cutting to make it fit.
Here's what my wife's ended up looking like.
