Bl00dy cps!!!
Firstly my sincere condolences to all about Marks death 
Been a while since I've posted...been pretty busy. I guess all this CPS talk has always had me worried (thought I might be exempt from the problems in Aussie), but sure enough on the weekend mine failed.
Luckily I had my superchip scanner and check the codes at time of problem, and managed to get the extra 200miles home.
Have ordered the new one locally (Ford dealer $120), cant seem to get an international one, and don't know what color the new one will be!
Once again, FTE info helped me pretty much know what the problem was as soon as it happened...thanks everyone!

They are the weak link. Since they're only $25 here in the US, maybe order a couple of spares from over here just in case this happens again. Many of us drive around with a spare CPS in the glove box.

I always meant to get a spare before my next trip, luckily I made it home.
Unfortunately the Aussie dollar means that your $25 unit turns out to be about $90 delivered, so the local cost is'nt too bad.
Anyway, I am thinking of selling the F'ee, so probably wont worry about a spare!
