Ok i have a 2006 F350 6.0L. Found online a guy selling a used Fabtech 6" lift. He Bought his truck (250 '06) with the 6 in in and said it was too big so he took out the 6 and put a 4" in. he is going to sell the: Coil springs, Pitman Arms (2?????), Rear blocks, U-bolts (will buy new ones), trac bar drop bracket, stabilizer, and radius arm drop brackets. he said the shocks will be included. there is some rust on them so i figure i will just sand or wire wheel the body and then paint the body. he wants 500 for this much. is that a good deal will there be anything else i will need??? any help is appreciated Kenny
if you look on ebay you can get a rough country lift for 800 brand new. i would say that 500 for a used fabtech lift is not too bad. but you must make sure that the lift has no cracks or is not to rusty. and also make sure you are getting all of the correct pieces.
u never know what kind of shape the shocks are in internally.. if the damping in teh shocks is gonig bad, that adds alot to the cost of ur budget...
also i'd be leary about buying any used lift kit that wasnt still in teh truck.. i'd like to drive it first and see how it behaves.. be worried something might be bent/cracked..
