Just traded my 04 6.0 for a 04 V10. Both are XLs, plain is the way I like em. The old one was a supercab short bed with 120k. My "new" gasser isa crewcab long bed w/only 22k. She is straight and clean. Feel like I need a habormasters help to park.Love that big bed and cab.So similar to my old one but so different. The gasser is SO quiet. Plenty of power to. My former truck had little mirrors. The new one has much bigger and better mirrors. The seat is better to,cloth for the driver and passenger and vinyl in the middle. Where is the V10's sweet spot for interstate cruising mileage empty(RPM)? I have 235's on steelies. And where is the sweet spot rpmwise for towing. And I do love the way the stock exhuast sounds during moderate acceleration, kinda like a gentle echo or bellow. Thanks for any pointers for my new SD...Matt
anything over 2200 or so it really starts waking up..
below that i find teh engines performance is noticably lacking..
as mentioned above, dont be afraid to rev it..
its quite funny how the same engine at 1500 RPM reacts so radicaly different at say 3000-3500 RPM... its almost like 2 different engines.. 1 for economy, 1 for ***-planting big grins...
