Stuuuuupid Drivers
These are from an email. The message was something about a driver running over a mattress on the highway. He took his truck in because he noticed a slight 'jerking and wobble'.

It is possible tho, I dunno about a mattress, but my 88 sucked up an extremely long piece of barbed wire, after a good hour of cutting, I finally got it all out.

I picked up a very long length of barbed wire many years ago when my wife and I took a "shortcut" home through a field late one night.
Took hours to get it all cut out.
It was very dark and I never even saw the single-strand fence.
But how in the world do you not see a mattress in the road?
He's got a big job ahead of him!

,how do you not notice a mattress on the road,and how can you not notice a clump of wire wraped around your drive shaft

Never seen it on a pickup but have spent many hours and big trucks with this kind of thing. Working at a landfill brings all sorts of interesting work. If my drivers can feel it at 5 mph in an big truck, surely this guy knew it.
