Decal removing hints.
I have an '06 Sport and I am thinking about getting rid of the "sport" decals on the bed. I think that it would give it a cleaner look.
Are there any chemicals that I need to use to pull it off?

Yep, the heat gun pulls the decal off pretty quick, but you are usually left with the adhesive still on the paint. I pulled the old 1" thick pin stripes of my 87 ranger and used WD-40 on the adhesive, covered with seran wrap for 15 minutes which softened the adhesive to the point it came right off. ( I also tried ammonia which also worked to soften the adhesive, but I prefer the oil odor)

I used a hair dryer on my Ranger Edge when it was brand new, the decal came right off. A little Goof-Off cleaned up the remaining glue.
Depending on your climate and where you park, you may have less paint fading under the decal, but if it's bad you can always get another decal.
