my truck is running fine, but 2 days ago i went to start it and it took a while longer for it to fire. it had been setting for 3 days without running but it seems if i wait for the wsl to go off and hit the accelerator a couple of times b4 cranking it starts quicker. does hitting the pedal make a diff. or might i have a prob coming on.
I think that could be due to a low oil level in the HPOP. Do a search on that. You will find info on how to check the level BEFORE you try to start the truck and what to do from there. Have fun!
EDIT - I don't really know much about the issue bc I haven't had to deal with it yet. I would like to give you more info and I am sure somebody will.
From what I have read on here, the go juice pedal has no effect during starting.
I don't think the oil would drain from the HPOP due to the shape, but there may be something else to it.
Mine will do the same after sitting for 3 days, just takes another second to light off. I'm not concerned about it.
