clutch fans

Found a fan shroud for my '72 up here in the Seattle area- unusual to find because it doesn't get too warm in western Washington state so A/C and fan shrouds weren't too common back in the day. My next goal is to find a clutch mechanism and fan to fit this combo- I'll most probably buy the clutch (and water pump) as new units because I would be really upset if that shroud got shredded because I got chinzy and re-used the clutch assembly. My question is, does anybody know what and if any other Ford fans will swap onto the clutch mechanism for my application? Lincolns, Merc's, other era's of F-series, etc?

any of the 70's Fords that have air would have the clutch fan only advantage of the clutch fan is they don't turn when your traveling highway speed.

Thanks- I ended up finding a guy on craigslist today who has one off a '76 F250. The fan measures 19 1/2" and the lowest clearance in the shroud is 20 1/4"; I'll use the 7-blade fan, but go ahead and put a new clutch on it. Bmuhlbach, I know it only helps at higher speeds, but it can't hurt and I'll be driving on a few state routes that snake around where I live.
