intake manifold removal
hey just curious, im going to be taking my intake off on my 75 f250 460 to replace my intake manifold gaskets. I know on the 390 you have to take out the dizzy because it goes through the intake. is there any way to leave it in on the 460? thanks. and should I just use black rtv on the front and rear sealing on the block.

It bolts to the block but the dizzy itself will be in the way of dropping the manifold straight down.
I use RTV front and rear.
Once you have to re-do an intake because the end seal slipped I doubt you will want to use one again.
Those stock iron intakes are heavy enough to maneuver with the engine in the truck.
