I am working on my 90 Ford Bronco 5.0L that was originally equipped with A/C and I am turning it into an off road rig, and need some step by step directions to get rid of the A/C and Smog Pump and not use a pulley.
I would also be interested in see'ing how it turns out. I pretty much watched my Bro-in-law take an 85 351W and just tear everything out and start over the engine now sits in a 66 mustang but runs like a champ There was hole were some tubes connected on the left side of the block that he just basically plugged added new intake and carb, MSD ignition capped off all the vaccum on the carb it seems to run fine....? I would be interested if there was some more experience on this subject becuase how we did it was the farm way throw it out and hope everything else works...lol
I'm going through the same thing basically man, just not removing my a/c.
I'm trying to find the right smog delete pulley right now. Keep us updated!
Smog pump delete is easy just buy a shorter belt, i did that one already. I am having a problem with removing the A/C without using an electric water pump so that the belt does not rub together at the water pump pulley.
