brake squeal

Ok, pads have been on for two weeks and this one squeals(almost sounds like metal to metal under HARD braking. Rotor is smooth front and back, pads and clips look fine. Any ideas?

What kind of pads did you put on it? Did you have the rotors turned? I really don't have any ideas, pretty sure someone will chime in to give you the correct answer though.

Slide pins are in good shape, right? All the clips and anti-rattle wires are installed? Did you tear it apart to see if something is wedged in there?

Subscribing, have the same problem but irt's only on my front driver side rotor.

I'm going to take apart today and lube the pins. Matt ever had a problem with the pinion seal leaking?

No i haven't. I am actually going to lube up the slide pins as well today. Pissed me off though man, brand new pads and that side is squealing like they're 10 years old!!
