Brake controller wiring help

I bought a 2000 F250 V10 last month to tow my trailer. I went out yesterday to install my Prodigy brake controller. I thought it was going to be a simple plug and play day...well it wasn't. Under the dash I think I found the wires that need to be connected to the Prodigy wire harness but they appear to be cut. Then I look inside the engine compartment and find the same thing. I went to a local stealership and they said I would need to by the entire wiring harness for $1353....

Can anyone help????

I have photos to help show what is going on but I need help in learning how to post photos.

When someone sells a truck, they usually are in a hurry and not worried about the wiring, and just cut the wiring when they want to keep their aftermarket stuff, even blowing fuses in the process.

If you find the correct wires, just splice them into the new brake controller, testing along the way if the wires work correctly(power when you hit the brake, power all the time, etc.)

I know this is turning out to be more difficult than you thought it would be, but the controller should have instructions with it.
